Below are the steps taken from Google\u2019s site on how to do it.<\/p>\n<p>If you aren&#8217;t connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile network, you can still view and edit files, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Google Docs<\/li>\n<li>Google Sheets<\/li>\n<li>Google Slides<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a id=\"post-54-_ez2i00otk9fn\"><\/a>Open files offline<\/h2>\n<p>To turn on offline access:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be connected to the Internet.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/chrome\/browser\/desktop\/\">Google Chrome<\/a> browser.<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t use incognito mode.<\/li>\n<li>Install and enable <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/google-docs-offline\/ghbmnnjooekpmoecnnnilnnbdlolhkhi\">Google Docs offline Chrome extension<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure you have enough free space on your device to save your files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a id=\"post-54-_8dkwhwlb3tka\"><\/a>Open your Google Drive files offline<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Chrome.
